Description: This class is for people competing or planning to compete in obedience and rally trials.  The focus is to clarify the AKC requirements regarding commands and signals for the various exercises so that the exhibitor can avoid a variety of common handler errors.  Handler errors can cause a loss of points or the loss of a qualifying score.  In this class we will not be training the dog although we will be watching the student and dog work a variety of exercises as we look at common errors.  Format will be approximately 50% lecture (with question and answers) and about 50% active participation with dogs or other students to improve skills.  The last night of class will involve ring experience at the novice level with students and instructor providing input on handling of their fellow classmates.  This class is being taught by Linda Hause, an AKC judge with 20 years of judging experience.

Instructor: Linda Hause

Please Note: Owners should bring copy of current vaccination record
