Wednesday Mornings - 10:30 am to 11:30 am  

Duration:  4 Weeks - 4 sessions,  10/22/25 through 11/12/2025

Prerequisite: Must have the basic skills of heeling, sit for exam, sit stay and the recall (come command) that will be evaluated in the Novice AKC Titling Class 

Description: The student and dog should already be familiar with the required exercises.  Assistance with prerequisite skills will be given as needed but the class does not include the introduction of the skills listed in the prerequisite.  The class will cover ring procedures, AKC regulations for Novice and Preferred Novice along with common handler errors.  The Novice and Pre-Novice class at an AKC trial include off lead healing.  You can still take this class if your dog is still primarily heeling on leash but your dog should be able to hold a sit stay for up to 35 feet for the off leash recall and the sit stay get your leash.  

Note:  The final class will be a novice ring run through on the Novice description
