Wednesday Evening:

Duration: 5 weeks

Prerequisite: Beginning or equivalent. 

Description: Learn fun games to break monotony and enhance your training of basic obedience and rally behaviors. It’s a to joy to train a happy, motivated dog. 

·         Every obedience and rally exercise starts with the dog in heel position.  The class will teach games to get your dog set up in heel position with speed, joy and a ready-to-work attitude.  

·         Want your dog to be connected to you and ready for the next command while you leave it, whether for a recall, the signal exercise or rally exercises like “Stand – Leave Dog – Sit Dog – Call Front – Finish?”  Learn games to keep your dog engaged with you, as you walk away.

·         Does your dog anticipate coming when you walk across the ring or get anxious when you leave it?  Learn games to make waiting in place more fun.

·         Want your dog to gallop happily to you on the recall?  The class will include recall games.

·         Having trouble with a specific exercise?  The class will include some time for individual problem-solving and game suggestions.
