Register For Classes

Due to  building space and parking limitations, we cannot accept walk-in registrations. You must be registered prior to the start of class in order to attend.

There are classes throughout the week. For a complete listing of daily activities switch to calendar view. To register for a class session , click on the class you are interested in on the calendar below.

When attending classes, if your dog needs to pee or poop they MUST use the dog run in the corner of our parking area.  This is not optional.  If your dog needs grass or a fence, stop at a park somewhere before arriving at our building to let the dog "take care of business". 

PARKING RESTRICTIONS: All daytime parking must be in front of our training building at the back Northeast corner of the parking lot. Evening parking can include the area in front of the Ice Company.  No exceptions.  Parking is limited and must be rotated between classes.  Please limit visiting at the cars after class as we need to make those spots available for the class that follows you.  PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY IN THE ENCLOSED PARKING AREA!

    Monday Mornings – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

    Duration: 6 Weeks, 6 sessions;  7/7/25 to 8/11/25

    Prerequisite: Must have current vaccinations appropriate to the age of the puppy. This is for the little ones, from ages 3 months to under 5 months at the start of class.  Dogs five months and older should register for a beginning class. 

    Description: Class content includes: confidence building, leash manners, introduction to basic commands and answers to basic puppy questions. Puppies learn how to behave in the presence of other dogs. Puppy class does not include "puppy playtime".

    Please Note:

    Students should not bring their puppies to the first Puppy Kindergarten class session. Please bring a mat for you and your puppy to work on and a supply of treats to class. Owners must bring a paper copy of the current vaccination records (appropriate to the age of the puppy, as per your vet).

    Duration: 8 Weeks, 8 sessions;  7/7/25 to 8/25/25

    Prerequisite: Dogs must be 5 months of age or older.

    Description: This class includes the introduction of basic commands, the practical use of commands, understanding your dog and resolving problem behaviors. Emphasis is on applying what is learned to real life so that you have a well–behaved pet that you can enjoy.

    Monday Evening - 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM

    Duration: 8 Weeks, 8 sessions;  7/7/25 to 8/25/25

    Prerequisite: Beginning  class or equivalent

    Description: Intermediate Obedience

    This class builds teamwork between the dog and the handler. The class follows Beginning and increases the skills taught at that level. It is also an excellent class for the dog and handler that have been away from training and need to brush up on their skills. This class  helps to prepare the handler and dog for Canine Good Citizenship testing and introduces skills needed for Rally I.

    Please note: This class is normally repeated several times for dogs and handlers to master the skills presented.  Dogs must master the skills of heeling (including right, left and about turns)  fronts, right and left finishes, and focus to progress to Rally or Advanced classes.  Dogs and handlers learn at different speeds depending on past experience in training, age of dog etc.

    Wednesday Evenings –  6:30pm to 7:30pm

    Duration 6 weeks:  6 class meetings  7/9/25 to 8/13/25

    PrerequisiteDog must be proficient with the skills presented in our Advanced Rally and Obedience classes: Right, left and about turns,  finish left and right, sit, down, and stand commands with stays, call fronts and attentive healing for a minimum of 10 feet in a straight line and on turns. Work is off-lead, and will include jumps.

    Description: This class continues with the rally signs for advanced competition, giving information on techniques for executing each exercise, how to run a course and training tips as needed. The instructor will cover rules and regulations that apply to advanced rally competition.

The instructor will cover rules and regulations that apply to rally competition. Novice rally courses will be set up for practice.

    Tuesday Afternoon 11:45 AM To 1:15 PM

    Duration  8 Weeks  8 Classes:  8/5/25 to 9/23/25

    Prerequisite:

    Dog MUST have experience with Agility Jumps, Weave Poles and Tunnels. It must be under control off leash.

    Description:

    A course will be set up with Jumps, Weave Poles, and Tunnels. Instructor will provide the layout of the course which includes basic sequencing between obstacles.  Handlers and dogs can practice the skills that are used to navigate the course. 

    While waiting, dogs should be crated.  Note that we only have a limited number of crates available at the building, so please bring your own

    *All participants will be required to help with  setup/knock down of the equipment for class.*

    Thursday Evenings, 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM

    Duration: 9 weeks, 6 class meetings; 8/7/25 to 10/2/25

    No class meeting 8/14, 9/11, 9/25

    Prerequisite:  Completed Beginner Obedience

    Description: This 6-session course offers a fun and interactive introduction to foundational skills for dog obedience competition, inspired by Hannah Branigan’s Awesome Obedience and her podcast, Drinking from the Toilet. Designed for dog owners interested in preparing their dogs for obedience and rally trials, this course will focus on building a strong training foundation that emphasizes clear communication, positive reinforcement, and engaging games.

    Each session will cover essential skills such as engagement, motivation, and precise positioning, all while creating a fun and rewarding environment for both handler and dog. With techniques and strategies from Hannah’s expertise, participants will learn how to break down complex behaviors into achievable steps, troubleshoot common challenges, and create a reliable training routine that builds confidence and enthusiasm.

    Whether you're aiming to enter the competition ring or simply want to improve your dog's obedience skills, this class will provide you with the tools to lay a solid foundation for future success.

    Join us for a positive and productive class that combines the techniques from Awesome Obedience and Drinking from the Toilet to enhance your training experience and set you and your dog up for success in the competition ring!

    This class will primarily focus on shaping and luring techniques. A clicker is required for participation and will be available for purchase during the class.
