Registration is closed

Saturday Mornings - 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM

Duration 8 Weeks: January 7, 2023 to February 25, 2023

Prerequisite: Beginning  class or equivalent

Description: Intermediate Obedience

This class builds teamwork between the dog and the handler. The class follows Beginning and increases the skills taught at that level. It is also an excellent class for the dog and handler that have been away from training and need to brush up on their skills. This class  helps to prepare the handler and dog for Canine Good Citizenship testing and introduces skills needed for Rally I.

Please note: This class is normally repeated several times for dogs and handlers to master the skills presented.  Dogs must master the skills of healing (including right, left and about turns)  fronts, right and left finishes, and focus to progress to Rally or Advanced classes.  Dogs and handlers learn at different speeds depending on past experience in training, age of dog etc.

Instructor: Nancy Dougan

Please Note: Bring your dog to ALL classes

Owners must bring a paper copy of the current vaccination record even if you brought it for a previous class.

Please read Protocols for Class With COVID 19.pdf . By attending class you are agreeing to our Protocols.
