Tim has enjoyed living with dogs all of his life including: Golden Retrievers, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 3 Basset Hounds, 2 Corgis, and now 2 Irish Water Spaniels, who happen to be mother and daughter.
Tim began training in agility with his first Irish Water Spaniel, Keeva, in 2014. He trained and trialed with Keeva in agility, his wife handled her in conformation. Tim earned multiple titles in agility in AKC, USDAA, and UKI events.
Keeva was bred in 2016 and he kept one of her pups, Calypso. Tim decided he wanted to handle Calypso in conformation. He began learning conformation-handling skills and started training Calypso very early. His first time in the ring with her earned a Group 4 placement in the 4 – 6 Month puppy class. In the next couple of years, they earned many owner-handler Group placements, Bred-by-Exhibitor Group placements, a regular Group placement. Tim has also earned Best in Show and Best in Show Bred by Exhibitor at several IABCA events, but Tim’s most special achievement was winning Best in Show with Calypso at a regional specialty in 2019.
Tim became interested in competing in Rally and Obedience with both Keeva and Calypso several years ago. He began taking classes in those disciplines at county-wide dog training club. He has earned Rally Master titles on both dogs, as well as a CD on Calypso.
Tim loves working with his dogs, and Irish Water Spaniels can be challenging because they are so smart and inquisitive. He trains with them almost daily to improve his knowledge and skills. He is very competitive by nature and strives to do better at each trial or show.
Tim lives in Santa Rosa with his wife and two Irish Water Spaniels. He has two grown daughters and continues to work full time as a foreman/superintendent for an engineering construction company in Marin County. He has also raced sailboats on San Francisco Bay for over 30 years.

Lee started the County-Wide kindergarten puppy training program. Since Covid and the addition of more classes at County-Wide, She has been teaching beginning, intermediate and canine good citizen evaluation classes and an occasional Crate Games class.
Lee enrolled in the Susan Garrett Recallers online program. She has taken many online classes through the Fenzi Dog Sports Academy. She is fascinated with dog training and the human/canine bond. She thoroughly enjoys helping people get the best relationship with their dog.
Trick Dog
Dori has had dogs and horses all her life, as well as a menagerie of animals with fur, feathers, or scales. She put a CD on her Irish Setter in 1988 and, since retiring from teaching, she has begun showing in Conformation. She also has added ATT, FDC, CGC, and Trick Dog titles to the Champions she has finished. She is an AKC evaluator for ATT, FDC, CGC, Trick Dog, and Fetch Dog. Dori has taken many classes at CWDTC and she is thrilled to be co-teaching Trick Dog classes with Pat Moffitt.
Agility
I've been teaching agility for 15 years and competing in agility for 20. I love teaching because I love the relationship that is formed with your dog while doing agility which is one of teammates rather than the more traditional master dog scenario. This can transform your relationship with your dog making him a calmer, more well rounded, confident and much more well behaved.
